I snapped this pic driving to breakfast last week. We often see hot air balloons in our 'hood because we live near the park that they take off from. I love the look of the however I can almost certainly say that I would never go in one. Have you ever? Would you ever?

You know as I read the first line of your blog I thought "That's something I should try" but then when I read that you woul NEVER do it...I have completely gone off the idea.
Do you think it is hugely unsafe ?

Not a chance in hell, seen too many reports of incidents - after all you are in the hands of mother nature and she can get a little nasty.
On second thoughts, it would be a chance to get away from the kids. Let me think, possible death vs escaping the kids for a while - it's tempting !
