something to ponder

so my housemate had a 'date' on Friday afternoon - nothing major just a casual hook up - more like a set up through friends of friends of friends parents etc...and well they went for coffee. Fine. Except he let her pay for both hers and his coffee and cake. Is this ok? I am thinking that it is not but maybe I am just outdated - I mean I know us grrls want Independence and all that, but really paying for coffee on a first date is a given isn't it? Please let me know if I am back in the last millennium with my dating expectations...please do..

Leesy and I have been discussing this and well, it doesn't seem like good form BUT...he might have been thinking 'I like htis girl, she'll get this one and I'll shout her to dinner somewhere like the Belgian Beer Garden on the next date"...but will there be another date ?

This bloke has isssssues. He should have paid for everything. Even if the "date" was her idea, he should still get the moths out of his wallet. Gives the rest of us a bad name. She needs to tell him to man up, or run a mile.
