You know how August was buy absolutley nothing month..well tonight I caved! I bought sugar tongs! I have been wanting a pair for ages - they are very difficult to find, and they only cost 4.95 - so surely that doesn't even count! Does it? I made it to the 28/8/08..

That so doesn;t even count....4.95 is nothin'...and you['ve gotta remind yourself what the sugar tongs will give back and the money that they will save you in the long term. Yes, it's about the long term. Next time you are serving a high tea and you go looking for something to serve the sugar cubes you'll whip out your designer tongs and the cubes will launch their way hygiencially into the cuppa of your guest. I hope that guest is US.
