More photos from the series - "Thursday night at dads" You will notice in this picture that dad is wearing a dressing gown- the one he so proudly boasted about earlier in the year when he refused to buy my sister and I a dressing gown. WE gave him this dressing gown - like a gazillion years ago. It no longer has a belt - and hasn't had a belt for a long time. That didn't stop dad - you know most people - I should I say women - would probably buy a new one. Not my dad. He has belted this dressing gown with - a red tie and a dress belt amongst other things. You might wander what he is doing in this picture. He is scratching his back - he has always always used the corner of a wall to scratch his back. Kooky hey.
Can I also say that on Sunday I had nearly word for word this conversation with my dad on the weekend. I am not kidding you. I cut him short and said - check the x-ray draw!!! He came back and was giggling his head off and said " Well I'll be - why would a man keep his tax in the x-ray drawer". Yes dad - why exactly.

Good on you Paul.
Why go and purchase a whole new dressing gown simply coz the belt is gone ?
He's a good recycler and is NOT contributing to landfill...the earth thanks you.
If the tax stuff was the in the xray draw - does it become "TAXRAY" ???
Yeah, stop picking on dear old dad! Us fathers cop a lot of flack about our attire... we just know how to make what clothes we have last as long as necessary.
I remember that conversation well from last tax time !
